The Layer States Manager uses layer States defined in the Projects layer Standard File: Projects.dwg. Switch to the Import Layers to, well, Import Layers.


This tree control shows where all the Layers are coming frome: the main drawing, all xrefs, and a setting to choose all layers. What this allows is to be able to change the state of layers independantly of each other.


After selecting which layers to change, select the Layer State and click the Restore button. Alternately you can double click on the Layer State you want to set current.

Sometimes AutoCAD Architecture wants to freeze Viewport Layers in View Drawings. We don't want that! Use the  button to, well, thaw Viewport Layers!
