question on palettes

im just messing around with palettes and i dont seem to see an option to have them undockable.

when it opens, its docked to the left.
if i undock it and close it, then open it again it becomes docked again.

is there a setting that opens and keeps it undocked or open to the right?

no i didnt, however that link seems to refer to hiding an unhiding.

im looking to keep the palettte undocked upon opening or launching of the palette and to have it open to the right, undocked, instead of left and docked.

wow all that just to get the palettes to undock and open on the right side?

ill stick with modeless forms.

with the flexibility of odcl one would think this would be possible by a simple "yes/no" type of option in the editor
