display issues with 6.0.2 and control bars with acad 2009

this control bar isnt displaying properly
ive tried to open the odcl file and save it with the current version but its didnt help

any clues how to fix this?
or should i reinstall 6.0.1

thats what im using that is causing the display issue in the image

Is the control bar resizable? Is it displaying improperly when you first show it? Can you attach a simple sample project that demonstrates the problem?

no its not resizable, what you see in the image is what it looks like when first loaded. in the gray area its missing a text box that should be displayed.
