Wanna show something from different server

Hello Barry,

I have the feeling that you have a high knowledge about this forum technology. So I ask you a little question:

I wanted to present a flash-video from my server at this topic http://www.opendcl.com/forum/index.php?topic=197.0 .

Is it possible to present this video in this link that it is shown as the GIF-files you use? Creating a GIF-file from this video is not difficult, but the file size is bigger than 256 k.

Another question: Zibster used a link this way that the adress ist not seen but a couple of words are selected as link. How did he do that? Maybe these are silly questions but I will die if I don't know that. :-[

Hmmmm... There's a Flash button to the left of the insert image button that I though should work like this:

[_flash=784,690]http://kep-digital.dyndns.org/videos/toggle_focus/toggle_focus_controller.swf

Without the first "_", but it doesn't look like it's working.

He\She may have been using HTML tags instead of the forums Bulletin Board tags

(note remove the 3 "_" in the above string)

OK I got it now, just a simple setting bared in all the forum config screens.
However when you produced your Camtasia file you had it create a web page so it's looking for an XML file and wont play without it.
You need to produce it as a stand-alone flash file like this....
So it has the controls embedded & you can play it.

So the string is:
[_flash=640,480]http://www.opendcl.com/site/flash/AR.swf
(Without the first "_")

I've also found out that the URL tag can be broken up into 2 parts, like this..

How do you create such a swf? I searched for it in the production assistent but i didn't find. which release do you use?
