In OpenDCL, Online Help the search with Google gives no results - neither in Firefox nor in IE:

It looks like the Google Web Search API has
{2}. I'll have to do some research to see what we can do to replace it.

Seem to work again - thanks for the fix.
A small cosmetic issue:
The resulting list tries to display the image "http://www.opendcl.com/site/Images/forum_logo.png" in the upper left corner - but this image does not exist.

In addition to the missing forum image, we need to figure out how to remove www.opendcl.com/HelpFiles/index.php from the results and display only the link to the actual page.

Hmm, I don't get any missing forum image. I do remember seeing it earlier when testing this problem. Can you describe the steps to get it? Or maybe it is just a cached page on your system.

No complex steps - only use it. See attachment.

Or it exists in your cache and is displayed for you. If I try to open the image itself - see link above, I get an error 404.

It looks like Barry made a change to ENU\Top.html that corrects the problem for ENU searches, but DEU\Top.html is still original. Presumably he is experimenting, or trying to fix the problem of search results from all languages instead of only the active language. In the meantime I have updated DEU\Top.html and RUS\Top.html so they work the same way as the ENU search.

The search seem to run - in principle. But it does not find "ontimer", "OnTimer" and "*ontimer*".
Why?

It seems to be working here. I get two results for "ontimer" (albeit only the DEU help pages): the OnTimer event and the Timer method. Maybe Google had not indexed them until you searched? I really don't know.

(Same on Firefox and on IE10)
