underscores are now \ in callbacks?

Maybe I missed some thing, but I am seeing callbacks be named like:
c:CogoCheck/frmCogoChkM/cmdLayersOff#OnDragnDropFromControl
instead of
c:CogoCheck_frmCogoChkM_cmdLayersOff_OnDragnDropFromControl
is that proper behavior?

I know I can rename it, just wondering if that was on purpose.
