Run/Stop Button that changes color

I would like to create a Run/Stop Button that changes color with black text on it.

I have tried a Picture button with a colored background which works fine. Placing text on it is another matter.
Text could be included in a graphic but that seems like a kluge.

What possibilities exist?

Graphic buttons can have text on them same as text buttons. Just use a graphic button with no picture and the Caption property set as desired, then change the background color as needed.
