Text Box doesn't show default Text

I have a dialog box that contains (3) three text boxes.  All except (1) display the default text I have set in properties.  The text box that i am trying to get to show contains a number (ie. 0.125), would this be the reason?  It does pass the information to my AutoLisp routine though, it just doesn't display.  Any help would be appreciated.

What is the Filter Style of the problematic text box? Can you post a simple sample project that demonstrates the problem?

Owen it is the same project I sent you via email with the other issue with the sections disappearing.

Owen, that is all set.  I had the wrong Filter Style set.
